Women In Black Syria Vigils

Women in Black will be hosting a series of vigils this month to draw attention to Syria, particularly issues affecting detainees and the resultant impact on women.

The vigils will take place on the 12th, 19th and 26th of September from 6pm until 7pm. They will be located by the statue of Edith Cavell by the National Portrait Gallery. Attendees are invited to come along and stand in solidarity against injustice. Please feel free to bring your placards, and perhaps wear black if possible. Members of the organisation will be able to answer any questions you have, and a petition shall be circulating also.

You can view the invitation, or learn more about Women in Black by visiting their Twitter page <@wib_london> and/or Facebook <womeninblack.london>

We hope to see you there!
