September 30th, 19:00: Webinar ‘Rolling back women’s rights: misogyny and violence against women‘ with Mary Davis

Join us on 30th September to hear from Professor Mary Davis, who is a Labour Historian. She has written, broadcast and lectured widely on women’s history, labour history, imperialism and racism. She was awarded the TUC Women’s Gold Badge in 2010 for services to trade unionism. She currently serves on the Morning Star Management Committee, the Sylvia Memorial Committee and is Secretary of Marx Memorial Library. As the oldest international feminist peace organisation, the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom is alarmed that our hard-won rights are being eliminated – from Afghanistan and India to USA and UK. In this webinar we will explore the reasons why, and discuss possible ways forward. We hope to see you there!
