Speaking up for Women Internationally
Are Scottish women ready to act internationally ?
Does international news scare or bore you? We have a panel of international women talking about the good, and bad, things that happen when audacious women get involved.
Do women have to wait for equal citizenship before they can argue that international disputes should be settled by negotiation rather than by violence? How much can ‘ordinary’ women influence governments?
Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom brings together a panel of international women to talk about women, equality and action.
Speakers Hedi Meinzholt WILPF Germany, WILPF Europe Co-ordinator
Marie Lyse Numohoza UKWILPF Voices of African Women, Rwanda
Gals for Gals speaker – Gals for Gals are a new group of EU women working in Edinburgh, speaking on
