WILPF UK is thinking of women around the world, particularly those campaigning for peace and equality for all; those unable to campaign because of discrimination and harassment; and those surviving or who have survived violence and conflict in any form.
We believe that women’s rights are human rights, and as we continue our work to procure peaceful societies, we thank the many women making lasting differences in their communities.
We are marking International Women’s Day in a number of ways, with Jazzy Vibes from members of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra in Bromley, a centenary exhibition in the Jubilee Library, Brighton, and a singathon in Edinburgh. Details are available on our Events page.
