On Saturday the 20th Brighton WILPF members (alongside the likes of Women in Black, Palestine Solidarity Campaign, and Artist Action Brighton) took part in flash action in the Churchill Square shopping centre. They hung Palestinian flags, a Women in Black banner, and Guernica banner over the balcony; dropped leaflets; and chanted ‘ceasefire now’. The protest served to draw attention to the genocide case brought against Israel at the International Court of Justice.
This action was featured in local news, The Argus. which you can read here.
