To celebrate Conscientious Objectors’ Day 2018, on Tuesday 15th May, WILPF Brighton and Hove District Branch will be showing the film ‘Hacksaw Ridge’.
The film will start at 18.30pm at Friends Meeting House, Ship Street, Brighton. 
There will be a brief introduction followed by the film which is a true story about a US army medic who served in Okinawa in WW2 while refusing to carry a gun or kill anyone. Please note it lasts 2hrs 19mins.
