We support the call for the adoption of an additional Protocol to the European Convention on Human Rights on the right to a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment
In the face of ongoing environmental challenges, civil society organisations and social movements have come together to call on the Member States of the Council of Europe to protect the right to a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment through an additional protocol to the European Convention on Human Rights. We encourage you to also endorse this letter and to share this call as widely as possible with other organisations that might be interested in joining this cause. The time for Europe to protect this right is NOW!
