Members of the UK section of WILPF took part in a number of recent actions, marching in the world’s largest climate change march in September 2014; marching alongside trade union and community groups from around the UK in the Britain Needs a Pay Rise October 2014 march; and running a stall at the October 2014 Peace History Conference.
WILPF points out the links between war, militarism and climate change, with money wasted on arms, including nuclear weapons, and climatic effects of war affecting the planet.
